I photographed this baby elephant on a visit to Kenya, Africa. The elephant was rescued by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, an animal welfare organization that saves elephants from the ongoing threat of ivory poaching. The elephants at the Trust are happy, playful, and well-adjusted and it was a joy to spend time with these magnificent creatures.
